Now taking orders for new Rivendell frames

As you may know, Rivendell has been working on a couple new frames this year. HC is paid up and on the short dealer list to sell the Sam Hillborne, and we're considering the Betty Foy, too.

This is one of the photos of the Hillborne.

As a long-time fan of the Atlantis and Rambouillet variants, I admit to initially being somewhat doubtful about the design of these new models. But these photos have me convinced that this is going to be a great bike for touring, commuting, trail-riding, quick-ish road riding, and any other type of riding you can contrive (within reason).

The Hillborne framesets are going to cost $1000, and a complete bike is going to be around $2000. We have ordered a range of sizes, and are now taking $200 deposits. The ETA is late March or April. If you're interested, call or email for info on sizing, or to place your deposit.

If you're seriously interested in the Betty Foy mixte, let us know as soon as possible, and, if there's enough interest, we'll arrange to get those, too.
